Eternia multimedia materials

The multimedia materials uploaded by the users to Eternia are not shared with any 3rd party. They remain stored on the portal in the profile of the user who uploaded them. Any user who uploads files can choose to share, delete or keep them private so that only he or she can access them.

Personal Information Eternia

None of the personal, private information that is uploaded or entered on Eternia by its user is viewed by Eternia staff, or distributed to others, unless specifically requested by the user, and except in the cases involving reported abuse of our use policies or legal statutes. We do collect data, always with your knowledge and consent, which are used to personalize the site for your convenience.

A portion of this data, particularly those which reflects users’ lifestyles and interests, may be used in anonymous form as a statistical aggregate form to attract potential sponsors, to rebuilt historical framework and deliver advertising messages.

In no case is the personal information about the users sold or otherwise shared with advertisers, sponsors, partners or other 3rd parties. And under no circumstances is this information collected or distributed in any form without the prior knowledge and consent of the user.

Who will be able to view our private account?

Only those who possess a valid username and password, and authorized by you, can access your profile. Typically an account user will invite new users to his/her profile via email, and only the recipients of this invitation will be able to gain access to part or the entire profile after registering as a user on Eternia and after the release of the profile itself. It is then the responsibility of site users to help keeping their profile secure by inviting only appropriate relatives and close friends. Each user is responsible to protect his or her username & password. If the account contents are set up on Eternia as public, then, after the release of the profile, all users of Eternia network will view it. The account contents can also be set up as a mix between private and public, in which case the private areas of the account, as designated by the account user, will be accessible to the chosen users only, and the public areas will be accessible by all Eternia users.

Does Eternia ask for personal information?

Yes. Eternia asks for the name, email address, and other limited personal information when someone sign up, to use features such as e-mail, personality profiles, and to plan events and services. Most of this information may be entered at your option.

How does Eternia use my personal information?

Our goal is to provide the most possible personalized, relevant, user-friendly web experience. The primary use of all your personal information is to share it with other users related to you.

Does Eternia request or require any personal financial information?

Eternia account requires a subscription which is free for the Basic package. Beyond that, a paid subscription to superior packages is required. To facilitate payment, Eternia will request personal information regarding the various methods of payment chosen by the user.

Will Eternia disclose any personal information of the user to third parties?

No. Eternia will not disclose any of your personal information, except with your knowledge and consent, or as if required by law, or to protect the rights and property of Eternia.

Most personal information collected by Eternia is made available only to the users that you selected from your account and behind your request.
Eternia does reserve the right to disclose aggregated user statistics, such as for example "55 percent of our users are female" or "10,000 users indicate an interest in painting" in order to describe our services or provide statistical databases.  

Will Eternia use my information for direct mailings?

Only at your option. Eternia can automatically send email messages to inform users when new information has been posted. Participating users may also send email to the entire group or selected individuals, at their discretion. These options are selected by the user.

Eternia may also occasionally send information about special product and service that we feel may be of interest to you. Only Eternia will send you these direct mailings. If you do not want to receive such mailings, you may opt out at any time by deselecting that option in your user profile.

Does Eternia use IP Addresses and cookies?

IP Addresses: We do use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server, and to administer our Web site. Your IP address is also used to gather broad demographic information such as the geographic distribution of our users.

Cookies: Eternia makes limited use of browser cookies to enhance the experience of visiting the portal, for example, to avoid displaying certain messages to you more than once, or to optionally save your logon details on your browser so they won't have to be re-entered by you each time you wish to log in, or to reuse the display language you selected last time, so you won't have to pick it again each time you visit the site.

May I delete or deactivate my account and what happens to my personal information if I do?

Yes you may. Eternia gives users the following options for removing their information from our database or to no longer receive our service.

Individual users may request to be completely removed from Eternia by requesting this from Eternia technical support.

Once information is deleted it is erased from the Eternia servers and cannot be restored unless you have a backup.

Changes and Modifications

Eternia gives users the following options for changing and modifying information previously provided.

  1. Any user may modify his/her personal information, including passwords at any time by logging into Eternia, visiting his or her user profile and editing it, to update the information therein.
  2. At any time, users may delete or modify information and items such as news, photos, sounds, or other files which they personally have posted to the portal.
